About Tangled Leader
I found fly fishing in my early 20s, stationed in Alaska with the Air Force. I'd fished my whole life before that — spinning gear, the usual. After Alaska, I never picked a spinning rod back up.
It's been a while since I've stood in a river. Life gets in the way, same as it does for most people reading this. Tangled Leader started as a way to stay connected to something I care about, and to build something that might eventually buy back the time to do more of it.
This isn't a brand built by a marketing team that researched fly fishing. It's built by someone trying to get back to the water, making shirts for the kind of people who never really left it.
What we're about:
No badge-and-mountain clip art. No "gone fishin'" energy. Just shirts for people who think about hatches more than they'll admit, who've spent too much on flies they'll never use, who understand that "one more cast" is a lie you tell yourself every single time.
